What is Truphone Enterprise eSIM?

The Truphone Enterprise eSIM enables the dual-SIM capability of the latest iPhones (iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, or iPhone XR) so end users can access their employer’s Truphone Mobile Plan just as if it was a regular SIM card. The eSIM is delivered to the subscriber’s device by scanning a QR code Truphone will send via email upon request.

Why should I choose an eSIM for my Business?

With the use of an eSIM powered device, you get to use your Business mobile plan and free the physical SIM slot to use a personal plastic SIM. No need to carry and look after multiple smartphones, making life easier and more productive.

How do I get an eSIM for my Truphone Business plan?

Currently this is only available for selected customers, please ask your account manager for general availability date.

It only takes 3 simple steps to activate your eSIM for your Truphone Business plan:

    1. Ensure your Account Manager has authorised the use of eSIM within your company.
    2. If your company has authorised the use of eSIM, then give us a call or send us an email to request an eSIM for your device. You will need to provide a valid email address for your eSIM activation email to be sent and your current Truphone number. The email will include instructions to download the eSIM to your device.     3. Once the eSIM is downloaded to your device, contact Customer support or SDM to activate your eSIM for network use of Calls, SMS and data. Our agents will guide you through the activation process.

 


How do I set up my Enterprise eSIM in the iPhone?

In different countries, your experience with the iPhone can be different because of local language variations of your phone software.

In Europe: Scan a QR code

           Other options in some regions

  1. Go to Settings > Cellular
  2. Tap Add Cellular Plan
  3. Use your iPhone to scan the QR code that your carrier provided.
  1. Go to Settings > Mobile Data
  2. Tap Add mobile plan
  3. Use your iPhone to scan the QR code that Truphone sent you.

How and why do I enter the information manually?

If necessary, you can manually enter your plan information.

Tap “Enter Details Manually”, at the bottom of your iPhone screen, you will be prompted for activation codes. The email sent from Truphone includes this information, you can copy and paste these details instead of scanning the QR code.

How to activate Truphone when you have multiple eSIMs installed?

You can store more than one eSIM in your iPhone, but you can use only one at a time alongside your physical SIM.

You can choose your Truphone eSIM by tapping Settings > Cellular > Cellular Plans and tapping the plan you want to use. Then tap Turn On This Line.


Label your plans
 


After your second plan is activated, label your plans. For example, you can label your Truphone Enterprise eSIM plan as Business, and the other plan Personal.

You'll use these labels when you choose which phone number to use for making or receiving calls and messages, to designate a number for cellular data, and to assign a number to your contacts so you know which number you will use.
