Main Purpose of the Role

Our mission is to enable simple mobile connectivity for any device, anywhere in the world.

As the product manager for our eSIM portfolio, you will work closely with our customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to drive our compelling vision for the future of connectivity and deliver this to market in close collaboration with our world-class engineers, user experience and marketing teams.

You will be accountable for the design, delivery and in-life management of our eSIM and Remote SIM Provisioning products which serve some of largest device manufacturers and network operators in the world.

You will be the thought leader and expert on eSIM technology and services and the markets they operate in. You will be key in supporting Marketing, Operations and Sales winning customers whilst working with Engineering teams to evolve the proposition to take advantage of Truphone's unique technology, global network and management platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define standard and bespoke pricing models for eSIM and Remote SIM Provisioning products
  • Drive product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes, and then work on a daily basis with designer and developers to make these a reality.
  • Define product roadmap driven by customers, standards, competition and unique differentiating features
  • Be the go-to product expert in this area for other internal teams, executives, sales, marketing, customers, and partners. You will have detailed knowledge of your product area today as well as a broad vision for the future
  • Lead marketing efforts to position both the product and Truphone as a technology provider
  • Evangelise the product internally and externally by writing articles, presenting at industry events, meeting existing and potential customers and industry events and trade shows
  • Support definition of standard and bespoke contracts and associated supplementary documentation
  • Work with engineering teams to plan releases and prioritise demand
  • Liaise with customers and operation teams to define improvements to client onboarding and maintenance
  • Interface with other product lines to make sure there is coherent wider story to Truphone's product and service offering
  • Present your product and vision to executives and other internal stakeholders.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Minimum 7 years experience with at least 4 years product management experience in software.
  • Proven ability to deliver successful product experiences to customers as a product or technical leader.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Significant experience in presentations to internal and external executives.
  • Hands-on approach to test features, set up demos, work through complex customer challenges, etc.
  • Ability to manage competing and evolving priorities. There will always be more than you can do in a day so you need to continually make sure you have the right priorities and focus.
  • Exceptional technical abilities with demonstrated ability to earn the respect of high caliber engineering teams.
  • GSMA eSIM and Remote SIM Provisioning Specifications
  • Experience with SIM Card technology
  • Bachelors in Computer Science or other technical field required.
  • Focus on simple, customer on boarding and management
  • API management and customer integration experience is necessary
  • Experience with cloud pricing models
  • Experience with products in the Telco sector (E.g. selling into MNO's) but working for a Telco optional
