Enterprise Account Manager

Main Purpose of the Role

The key purpose of the role is to profitably retain, develop and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts and develop "trusted advisor" status with your clients.

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic sales professional with drive to succeed and support Truphone's unprecedented growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve/exceed company revenue targets for your nominated accounts
  • Create account development plans and close plans for all re-signs and key incremental growth opportunities, demonstrating your own required actions and those within your virtual team.
  • Identify and qualify up-selling sales opportunities to increase growth and revenue
  • Support your new business colleagues in winning new customers for Truphone and provide a seamless customer handover from acquisition to account management
  • Provide excellent customer service through client centric behaviours and activities
  • Work closely with Service Delivery colleagues to deliver the best possible customer experience
  • Build a network of contacts, at all levels, within your customers to support your retention and growth campaigns
  • Develop a knowledge and understanding of your customers' business that allows you to add value and become a trusted and valued partner
  • Lead all commercial & contractual activity throughout the sales cycle
  • Structured management of your pipeline and forecasting, utilising salesforce to accurately capture opportunities and orders 

Core Skills

  • 4-5 years' experience and a demonstrable record of over-achievement against target in an Account Management role within a enterprise environment, in IT/Telecommunications or a business to business market place
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain an effective network of contacts and build relationships at all levels of the customer's organisation
  • Strong commercial acumen and business understanding enabling achievement of profitable growth and retention results
  • Self-motivated in order to deliver exceptional results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and strong presentation skills, with strong customer relationship and stakeholder management experience
  • Ideally experienced in utilising Salesforce.com to report and manage activity
  • Appreciation of managing complex client solution delivery projects
  • Customer satisfaction and service delivery focussed
  • Able to navigate through conflict and challenges towards positive outcomes, while retaining focus and perspective

  • Truphone operates across a broad range of industry vertical sector, included Finance, Technology, Manufacturing, Marine/Offshore and Retail
  • Target deals sizes are typically multi country and range from 50-750 SIMs or £25k - £500k TCV.
