The role is broad and will be responsible for providing the killer insight and then driving the actions that support our aggressive growth aspirations.  We are moving into new markets, developing fresh propositions from scratch and driving a disruption across the global mobility market.  You will be self- sufficient, intellectually curious, great fun to work with but difficult when you need to be.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver insightful analytics & business intelligence that informs all commercial aspects of the business.
    • Gross Margin analysis of base customers. Price & airtime (Cost of Sale) elasticity
    • Cohort analysis of revenue & gross margin
    • Analytics to enhance our bid capability
    • Customer & product optimisation
  • Drive the sales incentive plan to deliver commercial strategic goals
  • Sales analytics on: revenue drivers, gross margin drivers, Churn, new orders, resigns.
  • Budgeting, Forecasting & 5 year plan
  • Provide commercial insight into strategic projects & evolution of the Truphone product set
  • Extensive modelling into new strategic projects and modelling of BAU scenarios
  • Drive a profitability & quality sales mind-set across the business.
  • Ensure sales commitments are fully delivered, highlighting risks and opportunities along the way

Skills and Expereince required

  • Anything from 2 years PQE to 10 years PQE. Qualified accountant
  • Inquisitive mind, insightful, high intellect, creative, problem solver, comfortable with ambiguity, team player, resilient, good sense of humour, patient, impatient.  Integrator and gluer-togetherer.
  • Can do will do attitude. Will roll up sleeves as necessary, flexible
  • Capable of rapid development, can do will do attitude.  Roll up the sleeves approach, great collaborator.  Enthused by the prospect of working at the bleeding edge and all that goes with it, good and bad. 
  • Superior excel skills, database experience (ideally SQL), Salesforce experience desirable
  • Some experience of subscriber annuity revenue, telecoms desirable not essential.
  • Experience working / optimising against a backdrop of imperfect systems and data
