Main Purpose of the Role

The L&D Manager will be the ambassador of the Truphone learning culture, providing expert learning portfolio, across the different business units and geographies.   Enabling the organisation's success, by coaching and developing its people, through expansion on their talents and skills, through building strong relationships throughout Truphone and creating an inspiring and fun learning environment which drives performance. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive the L&D function and be the first point of contact for all L&D related matters globally.
  • Responsible for end to end learning processes within the scope, including training need analysis, design, delivery and measure.
  • Consult with the relevant stakeholders to identify, plan, develop and implement learning solutions and programs to support new products/releases/features/processes.
  • Project manage all learning projects, being responsible both for the planning (content development, framework, timeline) and delivery/ implementation of the project (training logistics).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors and subject matter experts, interacting with all company stakeholders to ensure learning initiatives are fully aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop, update, co-ordinate and deliver the onboarding programmes (1 month duration) for our Customer Service population.
  • Vendor Management: ensure efficient vendor and cost management of all providers for global and local learning portfolios.
  • Responsible for managing and keeping track of the Global L&D budget.
  • Manage the lifecycle of learning assets, determining the need for maintenance and/or retirement.
  • Ensure compliance by developing the Learning Management process, tools, templates, policies, guidelines as well as local legislations, audits etc.
  • Management of the different eLearning platforms that are offered globally.
  • Assisting the Compliance Team, ensure Compliance Guidelines and training is in place globally.
  • Provide service delivery support for training calendar delivery.
  • Keep up to date with developments in the industry, monitoring trends, practices and making recommendations relating to these.

Skills and Experience Required

  • 5-10 years previous experience with designing, delivering and evaluating training in various formats (incl. virtual and F2F).
  • Knowledge and experience of training methodologies.
  • Creative and passionate, able to identify and develop various development & learning solutions.
  • Experience with online learning platforms is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with others   across all levels.  Fluent English language is essential.
