Main Purpose of the Role

To establish an indirect partner strategy and implement the same that fits the Truphone footprint.

To represent Truphone and the opportunity for B2B Indirect Partners to grow market share and win new customers to the Truphone proposition.

To support the engagement of indirect partners with the sole purpose of generating a base of partners that obtain, manage and grow their own Truphone base of customers in the Enterprise Business Market and consumer market where applicable.

 Key Responsibilities

  •  Achieve target sales as defined by the business on a quarterly basis with the commercial governance principles and guidelines set by the business
  • Meet agreed activity KPI's deemed necessary to hit target
  • Fully appreciate and understand the indirect partner profile and opportunity in each of our operating countries along with maintaining an in depth understanding of the market competitors
  • Build strategic relationships with key partners to ensure Truphone's share of business grows
  • As part of Truphone's indirect sales team, you will be expected to plan, prioritise and manage commercial activities with each channel partner to achieve quarterly business targets
  • Adopt true operational excellence by taking a disciplined approach to accurate and regular reporting / forecasting utilising Truphone's CRM systems
  • Operate within reasonable parameters of the business by setting and managing partner  expectations
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with partners and their customers
  • Take personal responsibility for the creation and progression of a personal development plan
  • Define the market potential for Truphone, produce a business plan and execute the plan to deliver revenue growth expectations

 Skills and Experience Required

  •  Sales experience working in the telecommunications Indirect channel
  • Experience of establishing partnerships in both UK and International markets
  • Excellent communication and customer management skills, both written and verbal
  • Ideally experienced in utilising Salesforce.com to report and manage activity
  • High attention to detail
  • Appreciation of critical timescales and the impact of delay of the same
  • Tenacious and able to motivate others in support of the needs of the role
  • Lead cross functional project teams alongside core role responsibilities
  • Highly numerate and adept at analysing and manipulating data in order to build and help build strong and persuasive selling messages. (Strong commercial acumen)
  • Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to deliver valuable outcomes to business partners, customers and to their business alike.
  • Ability to engage and have gravitas with key internal and external stakeholders.
