Main Purpose of the role

Wholesale supplier controller will assist the head of wholesale business management in understanding where Truphone stands versus annual budget, financial indicators and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintains regular interaction with Finance team for synchronization of budget and accruals by validating suppliers and third party invoices ensuring compliance against contractual agreed terms and monitoring charged units/traffic.
  • Supports the Wholesale department activities by raising all Wholesale purchase orders and ensure that the required financial approvals / feedback is received.
  • Be actively involved in querying invoices where necessary and obtaining credits and or new invoices where necessary.
  • Report any problems regarding the quality of invoices from each supplier to the Team Leader.
  • Responsible for working with vendors and ensuring service performance.
  • Accurate inputting of invoices on to the NetSuite systems.
  • Liaise with Truphone Financial clearing house to validate monthly indicative report validating payable invoices/payment proposals raised by FCH.
  • Ensure compliance with all systems, procedures and processes, so that company information and supplier invoices are accurate.
  • Process all payables transactions and completed related documentation
  • Ensure payables are entered in an accurate and timely manner
  • Assist in month-end closing, including accruals,
  • Financial reporting: standard and bespoke reporting for Truphone key stakeholders.
  • Manages monthly accruals through collection of financial data.
  • In charge of the update of the Finance Operation SharePoint.
  • Provides any ad-hoc reporting support to the Financial Analyst or Finance Coordinator.
  • Ensures the executed processes are aligned with Internal Guidelines and IGM standards.
  • Analysed budget/forecast figures vs actuals and produced weekly feedback to Sales Director and other LOBs (e.g. Banking & Finance).


Skills and experience required

  • Strong admin experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, including work and excel.
  • Proficient in Netsuite.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other MS office applications
  • Strong analytical and data management capabilities.
  • Highly organised; forthright; driven; energetic; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Fast learner on all fronts - work processes, relevant business applications, etc
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail, initiative, good judgment, adaptability to changing work environment, team work, stress tolerance and resilience.
