Main Purpose of the Role

As the Product Manager for Truphone Mobile Recording (TMR) you will be accountable for the management of the Truphone Mobile Recording product, and working cross functionally. Truphone Mobile Recording is one of our key offerings and you will be accountable for managing the product end to end and driving growth by providing the Sales and Marketing team with an exceptional product.  It has a strong FinTech element with a focus on banking and FS sector.

Key Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include the following:

  • To lead the product management lifecycle for the Truphone Mobile Recording product and managing the commercial outcomes for the product as whole to offer a relevant and high quality service to our customers.
  • To act as the internal subject matter expert on the Truphone Mobile Recording product and present the product to customers and prospects as new releases are made.
  • To engage regularly with current customers to understand their needs and how we can improve and expand the product.
  • To own the overall client experience and associated service catalogue offered as part of the service.
  • To develop and own the Go To Market strategy for future releases, and the execution strategy with Marketing, Sales and Service.
  • Work with the marketing team to leverage marketing & PR opportunities arising from product benefits of the service.
  • Coordinate extensively with the Technology team to ensure the maintenance and evolution of the product based on customer feedback, and sales based on prospect feedback.  Using these data points you will maintain the ongoing product roadmap.

Key KPIs & Success. You will be targeted on improving the following key measures: Lifetime value of a subscriber; Product level Net Promoter Score; Revenue and subscribers.

Skills and Experience Required

This is a challenging role where you will be given accountability to develop the product, and roam across the business in a matrixed manner to get the best possible outcome for customers.

  • You are experienced in developing business requirements capable of being turned into engineering specifications and driving "Go To Market" plans across multiple countries.
  • You have a good understanding of development frameworks, eg product delivery using Agile.
  • Experience in the FinTech sector or marketing software solutions to the FS/banking sector is of considerable benefit.
  • Confident in creating detailed business requirements, and being able to converse with technical teams, business analysts and sales teams
  • Confidence in presentation and public speaking - essential.
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the telecoms industries useful.
