Tru works just like you would expect a business-quality mobile phone network to work.

No funny codes to dial, or call-back technology. It just works as you would expect.
In our core network (we call them Tru countries), when you call, text or use data you will only ever pay local rates, rather than very expensive roaming rates.

Does Tru work on Apple products (iPhone and iPad)?
Yes.
Tru works on all unlocked handsets, including the iPhone.
We also have a specific business offering for iPad users, offering data for just 2p/MB in all Tru countries. Find out more here.

What countries does Tru work in?
Tru works in 220 countries throughout the world offering savings of up to 30% vs other US operators. In 35 countries (and rapidly rising) we can cut your by bill between 30 and 70%.
Within the Tru Network which currently spans the UK, USA and Australia, we offer savings of up to 90%.
We're adding more countries soon, with the Netherlands, Hong Kong and Spain lined up next.
We plan to have 20 countries in the Tru network by the end of 2012.

Is this an application?
No - there is nothing to download to use Tru.
Tru is a regular GSM network, and to use the service you simply insert a Tru SIM card into any unlocked handset.

Can I really have multiple numbers on one phone?
Yes!
Our SIM allows the user to add a different number for each Tru country:
• Numbers available for UK, USA and Australia, with more to come soon
• Every number is always active and available
• 1 voicemail and 1 bill for all number
• Smart caller ID automatically displays the number local to the person being called

What's your network like?
In the UK, we partner with Vodafone - so our network coverage is exactly the same as theirs. In Australia, we work with Optus. Throughout the world we partner with Tier 1 operators to ensure you get the best possible service.

Is there anything funny about using Tru, like dialling special codes?
No. There are no special dial codes to worry about, and you don't need a data connection.
Tru works just like any other regular phone network, wherever you have phone coverage. Make and receive calls as normal.
The only difference is that you will make incredible savings worldwide.
Note: In a small number of countries where roaming would not usually be possible you can still make calls using the call-back method. We will notify you by text message when you arrive in a country where callback is the default option with instructions.
