Having just one number on a phone makes it expensive for people overseas to call you.
Wouldn't it be better if you could have several different country numbers on your phone, so your friends and family in each country could call you on a number local for them?
So that's what we've done.
How does it work?
Most network SIM cards can only hold one number on them. What makes the Tru SIM different is unique, patented technology (known as multi-IMSI) that allows it to hold multiple numbers, at the same time. These are standard mobile numbers in each country (or state in the US) that incur no extra charge for your contacts.
Multiple numbers:
• Are always active
• Involve no SIM swapping or changes
• Overseas contacts see number that's local to them

Which of my numbers will the person I am calling see?
When you make a call, the SIM identifies who you are calling, and displays the most logical number.
So, if you have a US number and are calling a US contact, they will see the incoming call being from your US number (great if they want to call you back).
And if you are calling someone in Australia, and have an Australian number, they will see this.
It all makes sense.
What numbers can I get? Can I bring my current number across?
Currently, you can choose to have a UK, USA and Australian number.
You can choose to bring across (port) your existing numbers to Truphone. If you already have a US, UK or Australian number you can port these all onto you Tru SIM. Find out more about number porting.
How much does it cost?
Each Tru SIM comes with one number included and additional numbers can be added for $8 a month.
