To add a Tru Friend...

1. Begin by touching the Contacts button.

Then press the  button and choose Add Contacts

2. Start typing the name of the Tru contact into the search bar.

Press Search

Tip! For best results, search by entering the TruFriend’s username.

3. The results of your search will be displayed in a list. Simply touch the contact you wish to add.

4. Confirm that the contact details are correct and press Add to confirm.

5.  Your friend will be added to your contacts list. The icon next to a contact will indicate their current status.

For example…

  = TruFriend Online
 = TruFriend Offline

6.  To Call/IM/SMS a contact just touch 

To sign into another IM service

1. Begin by touching the Contacts button.

Then press the  button and choose

Manage IM Services

2. Touch the IM service you wish to log into.

Enter your username and password and choose Save.

Tip! For Skype and AIM just enter your username and password. All other services require your full email username and password. i.e. ‘username@gmail.com’

Filter Contacts

Tru allows you to sort/filter contacts according to IM service and status. By default all contacts are displayed in the list.

To choose which contacts appear press… 

Choose the IM service you wish to filter by from the left list. Choose the status you wish to filter by from the right list. When ready press Done

Tip! To view online contacts from all services, choose ‘All Services’ and ‘Online’.
