Sending a Text

You can now also use the Tru App to send text messages to/from anywhere in the world. Exactly the same rates apply from wherever in the world, you connect to, and use Tru.

To send a text you will need to purchase a Tru number, or link a phone number to your Tru App account (see below).

1. Begin by touching the SMS button. 

This screen shows all your sent/received Tru text messages.

Tip! If you wish to delete the text message from your history simply swipe your finger across the message to reveal a Delete button.

2. Press the button to create a new message.

Text messages will be charged at our standard low rates. 

3. Enter the number of the intended recipient in the To: field.

Tip? You can also add existing iPhone contacts by pressing the   button.   

4. Touch the text box and begin typing your message. When complete simply press 

Did You Know? A single message is up to 160 characters long. If you wish to write more, your message will be sent as several text messages.
