Receiving a Call

Other Tru users can call you for FREE, by adding you as a ‘TruFriend’.

You will not pay to receive Tru calls. Simply ensure that you are connected to Tru (via Wi-Fi or 3G), and that you keep the Tru App open.

You can also purchase an inbound Tru Number, which would enable you to receive internet calls from standard landlines/mobiles.

1. Tru will alert you when you are receiving an inbound Tru call with a unique Tru ring, and by displaying the Tru logo on the screen.

To answer or decline the call just select Decline/Answer.

2. Once you accept the incoming Tru call you will see this screen allowing you to complete the following in call features:

Mute: Mute your voice
Keypad: Displays the keypad
Speaker: Activates the Loudspeaker

Did You Know? People using other VoIP/SIP providers can also call you for FREE. They should dial '[yourNumber]@truphone.com' from their SIP provider.

Having a Tru Number means you can receive calls via the internet. This is particularly useful in helping to avoid inbound roaming charges when abroad, or making/receive calls in places where you have no mobile signal.

1. Log onto www.truphone.com/myaccount
2. Choose Store from the left bar
3. Choose the length of time you would like to have a Tru Number for (1 Month/1 Year), then click Buy
