Linking a number

Link a number to your account to update your Tru caller ID (CLI).

Linking a number allows you to send a text message. It also means that when you make calls, it will appear that you are using your normal phone. If you choose not to link a mobile/cellular number your CLI will simply be withheld (unless you purchase a Tru Number). 

1. Begin by opening the Tru App and touching the More button

Touch the My Account option

2. Press Go to my account

Then Choose Update Phone Number

3. This displays the current number linked to your Tru Account (If Any)

To add a number click Link new number

Tip! You can also Make Current an existing number. Meaning you can link multiple numbers to the same account!

4. Choose your GSM/cell number’s country, and enter your phone number

Press Go

Tip! Don’t forget to make a note of your PIN. You will need this in a few seconds

5. Truphone will now call the number entered on the previous screen

Answer the call, select the keypad button, and enter your PIN as prompted
