Linking a phone number

As well as enabling you to make low cost internet calls to/from anywhere in the world, the Tru App lets you show your normal phone number. This means your friends/family/colleagues will recognise who is calling.

· Link a number to update your Tru CLI (caller ID)
· Linking a number also allows you to send SMS

Upgrading to a Tru Number

You may also be interested in upgrading to a Tru Number. Having a Tru Number means you can receive calls via the internet. This is particularly useful on devices that aren't normally able to receive calls - Adding a Tru Number essentially upgrades your iPad, iPod Touch or Computer into a phone!

· Receive calls from standard landlines/mobiles
· Send/receive text (SMS) messages
· Avoid inbound roaming charges when abroad!
· Make/receive calls in places where you have no mobile signal

Tru Numbers are currently available to residents of the US and UK. UK users will be assigned a UK mobile number, whilst US users will be assigned a phone number in a state of your choice.
