Behind the scenes
The technology behind Tru is based on a multi-IMSI SIM card. IMSI stands for International Mobile Subscriber Identity.
Think of the IMSI as an identity or a number. It means that the SIM can have multiple identities / numbers.
This technology is unique to Tru, and allows our users to have a completely reliable and uninterrupted service as they travel the world.
Our network:
• Is scalable
• Has carrier class systems
• Has carrier grade interconnects
Just some of what we offer:

Automated provisioning New subscriptions are activated over the air.

Over the air (OTA) SIM updates Enhancements to our SIM cards are delivered automatically over the air using Tru's secure update systems.

Real-time IMSI brokering Tru SIM intelligently selects best 'identity' for each country so you get the lowest rates and the strongest signal.

Entity management So not just one, but all numbers on the SIM are always available for people to call you

Smart Caller ID (CLI) So it’s easy for people to call you. Read more about Smart CLI

It is thanks to these new technologies that we are able to:
• Give our SIM cards more than one number
• Activate the correct local rates when a Tru user lands in a new country
• Seamlessly add new countries over the air
Strategic Partnerships
We form strategic partnerships with best in class (tier 1) networks around the world, then create an intelligent layer that transforms them into our Global Network.
Our scalable, carrier class systems have carrier grade interconnects, which means that our network is extremely reliable.
Our Global Network also uses Internet Protocol to enable a sophisticated yet highly efficient network that results in great savings for you.
Luckily, all of this complexity is packaged in a solution that works just like any other mobile service, with the added benefit of offering local rates and local numbers for multiple countries.
