The Tru brand was designed to challenge the conventions in the mobile phone market. The fresh and unique approach is causing a stir with wit, simplicity and (we think) style.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced brand manager to join this forward thinking international telecommunications company in their central London office.

The brand is central to our business, and is crucial in quickly establishing trust with our high value customers. The brand has been developed over the past two years by some of the UK’s leading players and is integrated to everything we do – from the way that people answer the phone, to the way we make business decisions and communicate with external stakeholders.

We’re looking to move the brand on a step, and ensure is continues to deliver value to the business as we continue our global expansion.

Working in the global marketing team you will be responsible for managing and evolving the Tru brand across multiple channels, markets and countries.

You will be a forward-thinking and experienced individual who has worked in an in house environment, you will have a keen aesthetic sense and a background in making brands work harder for business.  It’s important that you’re willing to get stuck in and make things happen – from turning PowerPoint slides into presentations that wow the toughest audiences – to creating user guides and packaging which make users feel happy for having bought our products.

You will be expected to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, primarily the global sales, marketing and customer support teams; and external advertising, digital and PR agencies.

The brand manager will be accountable for evolving Tru’s brand assets and concepts, aligning them with the business strategy and helping add fuel to the fire of our global ambitions.

Our competitors are some of the biggest players in the world, and while they massively outspend us, we beat them with a wry smile (and a certain amount of guile).
